Tell us about your experience with RTOs, apprentices and trainees.
The Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) invites all employers of apprentices and trainees to have their say in their Employer Satisfaction Survey.
If you employ an apprentice or trainee who attends or has recently graduated from training at a registered training organisation (RTO), the Employer Satisfaction Survey is your chance to tell us how satisfied you are with the training they received.
The survey results have been used by to inform skills needs, guide workforce initiatives and drive action. This year's findings will again be used to improve the quality of education and training in Victoria and to help Victorian employers, have the right people with the right skills.
The VSA has commissioned Wallis Social Research (Wallis) to conduct the survey. Wallis have already sent you an email or text with a personalised link to the survey.
The quickest and easiest way to complete the survey is to do so online, by either:
- scanning the QR code on the letter you received
- or clicking your individual survey link in the email invitation or reminder you received.
If you prefer to complete the survey on paper, please complete the survey booklet mailed to you and post it back to Wallis Social Research using the self-addressed envelope.
You may also get a call from Wallis with the opportunity to participate in the survey over the phone.

Who is the Victorian Skills Authority?
The Victorian Skills Authority provides evidence-based planning and solutions to meet current and future skills needs in Victoria.
The VSA reports directly to the Minister for Skills and TAFE and works closely with the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) and the Skills and Employment Group within the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions.
Our role is to gather and analyse industry data, identify where there are current and emerging skills shortages in Victoria’s workforce and work with stakeholders to develop strategies to fill these gaps.
