Trade papers

Trade papers for Victorian apprentices help track progress, record achievements and ensure compliance with industry standards, supporting the successful completion of training and skill development.

Trade papers recognise the successful completion of your trade apprenticeship and acknowledge the deep technical trade skills you’ve gained.

You can receive a free trade paper if you have completed both:

  • a recognised apprenticeship in Victoria, which you started after 1 January 1995
  • the apprenticeship’s relevant qualification with a TAFE, trade school or registered training organisation.
